- It’s the highest peak in Punjab’s Salt Range, rising to about 1,525 m (5,010 ft), and is the only mountain in the region that sometimes sees winter snowfall.
- The hilltop hosts a Pakistan Air Force radar station and a TV relay center, due to its strategic height, although parts are off-limits, tourists can still explore surrounding areas.
- It overlooks Uchhali and Khabikki lakes—saltwater bodies in the Soon Valley. These lakes are part of a protected wetland complex, famous for migratory birds, scenic views, and local boating.
